Fluxed decodes and encodes the image on your device. Browser codecs and a dedicated Web Worker keep the interface responsive; specialist decoders are loaded only when a format needs them. This local workflow is useful for private photos, screenshots and design assets because there is no upload queue, account or remote copy to delete. You can also batch-convert images, preserve transparency in PNG, WebP and AVIF, or create smaller web assets. HEIC photos can become widely compatible JPEG files, while PNG screenshots can become compact WebP files. For document workflows, use the PDF tool to export PDF pages as images or combine images into a PDF.
Traditional cloud converters upload a file to a remote system before processing it. Fluxed instead uses browser APIs, Web Workers and WebAssembly (WASM) inside the browser sandbox. Your operating system gives the page access only to files you explicitly select, and the conversion output is created locally. There is no account, analytics script or tracking cookie. After the required app assets have been cached, supported workflows can also run offline.

Yes. Select a HEIC file, choose JPEG and start the conversion. The HEIC decoder is loaded in the browser only when required.
WebP is broadly compatible and compact. AVIF can be smaller, while PNG is best when lossless detail or transparency is essential.
